Physiotherapy

We offer a wide range of treatments including hands-on manual therapy, manipulation and mobilisation techniques and soft tissue techniques such as massage and trigger point release.  We follow the latest guidelines and evidence-based treatment to ensure effective treatment.

We provide specific exercise programmes tailored to each patients’ individual requirements and use an online facility so you can watch demonstrations of each exercise at home.  If you require a pre-operative programme, for example prior to joint replacement surgery, or if your condition requires sport specific rehabilitation, we will tailor your rehabilitation to suit your particular requirements.

After assessment and discussion with you, your physiotherapist may recommend an Electrotherapy treatment, usually in addition to a specifically targeted exercise therapy and hands on treatment.  Electrotherapy treatments include Ultrasound, Pulsed Electromagnetic Energy (PEME), Interferential, Stimulatory Currents, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulators (TENS).
